The Raw Edge Cogged V-belt has a polychloroprene cushion rubber compound, specially treated and stabilized polyester cord. Fiber filled polychloroprene base compound with molded cogs for better flexibility. The rigid top layer restricts cracking and gives uniform tensions on cord ends. The top fabric gives better support and protection from the environment. The molded cogs are capable of operating over smaller diameter pulleys at high speeds. The cogs help reduce bending stress and provide higher surface area for proper heat dissipation.
